Owners Representation

At MPLD Consulting, our representation can handle all aspects of development from site selection and due diligence, government entitlement, zoning and public representation, to approval and permitting. Your project will be managed from A to Z.


In addition to new construction for commercial buildings and residential builders, we also specialize in redevelopment projects including tenant improvements, hospitals, surgery centers, ALF/CLRs, country clubs, expansions, retail big box, site relocation, and much more. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and as such, have the knowledge, expertise and experience to navigate the complex government processes.

Entitlement Submittals

Entitlements include rezoning, land use changes, platting, water districts, conditional use, utilities companies, due diligence, Phase I, comp plan amendments, variances, landscape plans, regulating plans and site plans. This is the single most critical stage to successful approval in Florida. At MPLD Consulting, we’re not only specialists in this stage and process of development, but top in the field in this area. Our services include public outreach, project website, and lobbying of elected officials.

Public Representation & Community Outreach

During initial discovery, we attend city and county meetings to address the areas where your project involves planned urban development, environmental regulation, and local zoning and variances. We also work with public involvement in the surrounding communities through charrettes and project lobbying with the elected officials. Our long-standing relationships with public officials, planning, zoning, public works, fire, building, traffic, utilities, health and engineering officials and more can make the difference between a successfully completed project and one that is delayed or never makes it past the concept stage.

Program Management

Upon the issuance of the construction permit, our program manager will provide the full program administration and management for the entirety of the project from commencement to closeout. This includes RFI management and attending OAC meetings. We can make the critical decisions during the construction phase to expedite the project and keep it on schedule and within budget. We are also your eyes and ears to ensure your project moves at the proper pace and with minimal change orders.
