Description

Presented by the Women In Business Council, The Woman Effect is a virtual podcast-style interview with women who have made it, in a male dominated industry. Guests will be CEOs and/or executives from various industries all over the US. The entire event will be one hour, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. The first 30-minutes will be the guest telling her story on FB Live while the second 30 minutes will be an intimate discussion with up to 20 women “offline” in Zoom.

This week’s speaker: Rebecca Miller, Founder and President of MPLD Consulting (Miller Permitting & Land Development)

Rebecca Miller is the Founder and President of MPLD Consulting (Miller Permitting & Land Development), a full service development consulting firm that has been serving all of Florida for the past 18 years (3 offices – West Palm Beach, Tradition and Fort Pierce). Her current projects exceed $1.5 billion in value. She is also the founder of a regional think tank for economic development called PREA that coalesces with business leaders to advance a regional economic development perspective. In addition to the above, Rebecca serves as Board Chair of the St. Lucie County Cultural Alliance, a public/private LAA. Lastly, she is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2020.

Rebecca’s reputation is impeccable. As a visionary and true testament of a great leader, Rebecca Miller has had an enormous impact on the community. She is a firm believer that success stems from the building of relationships. Rebecca will give of her time with no thought to her bottom line in order to pour into others and empower them.

Where are you now, Rebecca, versus where you saw yourself as a little girl?  I thought I would be an International Diplomat or Journalist.

Scheduled dates/speakers for 2022:

Our Women In Business Council is a working council of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce that promotes networking and education for professional women and women entrepreneurs while highlighting the women leaders in the community.
